Bifolding doors fold back concertina style, which can limit furniture placement near the opening. Sliding doors also tend to offer wider uninterrupted glass panels and a cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic.

The Visoglide Plus system is available in 2 track, 3 track and quad track configurations - accommodating everything from a simple two panel system to large multi-panel installations spanning several metres. Both inline sliding and lift and slide options are available depending on your requirements.

Yes - the Visoglide Plus system features an extended polyamide thermal break throughout every main section, achieving a U-value from 1.2 W/m²K. This meets the limiting value for existing dwellings and with upgraded profiles can exceed the notional value for new build - keeping your home warmer and your energy bills lower.

Absolutely. The Visoglide Plus system achieves PAS24:2022 security accreditation and holds a BS Kitemark certification - two of the most rigorous security standards in the industry. Every installation is fitted with a high specification multi-point locking system as standard.

Very little. The aluminium frames never rot, warp or need repainting - the powder coated finish retains its appearance for decades with just an occasional wipe down. We recommend lubricating the runners once a year to keep the sliding action smooth and effortless.

Yes - the Visoglide Plus system is equally suited to commercial and residential applications. It is designed to handle large opening apertures required for commercial entrances whilst maintaining the same premium performance and aesthetic standards as a residential installation. Auto slide opening mechanisms are also compatible with the system.
